singapore mission team arrives in 9hours! i am so excited to receive them and to work together with them for the next 3 weeks :) today at nanzan lunch i taught the students singlish. i never knew singlish is so deep and beyond explanation til i started preparing for it. like, how do u differentiate clearly when to use lah, lor, leh, hor, meh. it comes out of singaporean so naturally and there is just no clear explanations when and why we use each of them.
recently there is a revival in cell! many non-christians are consistently coming, and sometimes around 15 students try to squeeze into my small living room. so this week, cell group multiplied! today 5 of us gathered at my place. satomi wanted to eat miso udon so together we made that. kita led worship and shubo led word. we learnt about the meaning of baptism. though cell seemed much quieter after multiplication, i enjoy the smaller group sharing very much. being able to hear everybody's doubts and opinions. after cell ended more students came and they just hung out at the dining area to talk and pray. i really like using my house like this. if God willing, i would really love to host young people at home like this for the rest of my life. i'll serve yummy deserts and drinks. just like my small christian cafe dream :)
