CAMPUS MOVEMENTS EVERYWHERE!!!

praise God for CM2007!!! more than 150 staff and students from tokyo, nagoya, sendai, hokkaido, fukuoka, osaka and okinawa gathered with 20,000 brothers and sisters from all over the world. in the midst of the great big crowd, guess who God brought me to meet!!!

my jc friend weixiang is now a christian!!! i was so surprised to see him at this conference. i remember in jc outdoor club we had a cell group and at that time whenever we tried to share the gospel with him he would be so cautious of being "brainwashed". we brought him to fop once and it made him so unhappy. i don't remember if we tried any harder after that, but apparently our Shepherd continues seeking after His lost sheep!

celebrated my birthday in korea! i realised i'm no longer a big fan of big parties and surprises. secretly, i was feeling anxious that my birthday falls in the midst of such a mega conference. i found myself trying to avoid meeting people, so i took time off from the conference to have a quiet and slow morning with Abba Father :) chatted with Him about many things that happened in the past 24years of my life, about what i should be doing in this new 25th year and beyond... what happens after i leave japan next february...whenever i think of our japanese christian students and of the recent new baby christians, i feel so sad that soon i'll be leaving japan. during this conference ayako shared many times that she wants to give God her whole life to serve Him. tomoe is believing God that more than just protection of the new christian's faith, they will grow up to become disciple-makers. yasuyo can't wait to go share God's love with the lost in japan. i hear of many others who just want to give their life to share about Him. students are considering full-time and stint like never before. God is doing so many things in these lives, i can't believe He has blessed me with the privilege of experiencing such a spiritually significant time and event of Japan.

on the last day of the conference all countries were allocated different rooms to spend regional time. in c202 where Japan gathered, students with no hesitation raised their hands to share the lessons and visions that God placed in their hearts. some would think that it's just the result of mega worship and a week of emotional and spiritual high. but God is really moving in these lives. i really believe they are gonna change Japan and the world for Christ. if God willing, i want to be a part of this family to make history in Japan for the rest of my life.
